Job description

SUMMARY: Responsible for managing business relationships with assigned accounts; Develops positive relationships within the customer organization; manages commercial terms to ensure both customer satisfaction and account profitability. Actively supports iGPS financial and operational goals for assigned accounts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and develop client relations for new and existing customers.
  • Understand the hierarchy of customers’ management, key decision makers and decision-making process.
  • Understand assigned accounts’ culture, product portfolio, forecasted volumes, competitive position, financial state, organization and supply chain structures and key decision makers.
  • Regularly interact with appropriate contacts and executives of assigned accounts to ensure customer satisfaction. Provide timely and accurate follow-ups or next steps if relevant. Actively participate in the resolution of customer concerns.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all areas/departments within the iGPS organization – TEAM first!!
  • Keep iGPS management informed of customer concerns and communications.
  • Understand and able to effectively communicate iGPS pallet ordering, delivery, transfer reporting, invoicing, and account reconciliation processes.
  • Provide forecasts of customer pallet volumes.
  • Ensure prompt payment of iGPS invoices by assigned accounts.
  • Maintain profitable growth of accounts and work to improve account KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate and current account data within the iGPS CRM.
  • Function as liaison between customers and iGPS staffs.
  • Monitor account pallet balances and dwell times and complete audits when required.
  • Thoroughly understand and communicate the features and benefits of the iGPS Pallet.
  • Travel to customer locations as required and approved.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Able to work remotely.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent.
  • Two to four years account management experience or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a teams.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
