Armed Security Guard

Location: Armstrong County, PA

Security Clearance Required: Must have Secret Security Clearance at time of application

Must have: PA Act 235 Certification at time of application

Base Pay: until fully qualified then $32.62/hr & $4.57 H/W

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1-3 years high-level security experience on DOD/DOE site or similar military experience
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
• Valid guard card/license, as required in Pennsylvania and PA Act 235 certification
• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.

Able to:

• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat.
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
• Ability to pass civil, criminal, and employment background checks
• Ability to pass initial, random, and periodic drug screen tests
• Reliable transportation

Description: Santa Fe Protective Services, Inc. is seeking talent to join the Security Service Team in the area of an Armed Security officer: Position will be required to pass a background and physical exam and must be a U.S. Citizen. Personnel providing security services must be fully compliant and licensed with all applicable state and local qualifications and licensing requirements. Personnel must possess a minimum of a Secret Clearance at the time of application.
