Duties
The Secretary/Escort will accompany the Shred Truck driver(s) during the pick-up and shredding of site office papers. The Admin/Escort will also accompany the Laundry driver for delivery, and pick up of Arc rated clothing. The Secretary/Escort will also be responsible for:
- Checking out keys at the beginning/end of each shift.
- Securely locking and unlocking shred bins throughout the Hanford Site.
- Maintaining visual contact with shred bins while unlocked;
- Performing cursory visual inspections of mobile shredding vehicle at the end of each day to ensure all material has been destroyed to the HMIS Physical Security standards;
- Documenting the volume of paper shredded at the end of each shift and reporting volumes to the Buyer Technical Representative at the end of each week.
- Provide "need to know" capabilities support when contractor is shredding office paper on the Hanford Site.
- Must maintain strict professional confidentiality at all times.
- Report anything out of the ordinary.
- Assist the laundry driver with deliveries and pick ups
- Ensure the laundry driver stops at every location on a weekly basis
- Report all laundry issues to the BTR
- Assist the laundry driver to ensure the clothing is delivered to the correct locations
- Perform record retention for Ops Support/Waste & Traffic Management.
- Perform Annual Inventory
- Assist with HMIS Safety meeting & functions
- Administer IDMS record keeping
- Order material/office/safety supplies
- Perform various administrative duties as directed by management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at a minimum of three (5) years administrative and / or support work, and/or continued education in lieu of experience
- Working knowledge of basic computer skills and Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess strong attention to detail
- Must possess strong organizational skills
- Operate standard office equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience providing support to a manager
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro, IDMS, Crystal Reports, Access and/or Visio
- Experience working with mobile devices such as laptops and/or computer peripherals
- Experience working in a virtual telework environment
- Prior records management experience
- Prior experience with correspondence processing
- Prior Hanford site experience
Compensation
Salary is commensurate with education and experience between $23.68/hr - $25.72/hr.
