Job Title: Summer Intern - Sustainable Finance
Pay Rate: $30 to $37.11/HR
Duration: 3 months
Location: Iselin, NJ (Hybrid)
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

This position is for the Corporate Technologies division.

We are looking for a Summer Intern - Sustainable Finance. We are dedicated to addressing our planet’s biggest environmental challenges, including climate change. We are seeking a professional to join our sustainability team for the summer. As an Intern you will work with our team to develop our sustainability strategy, conducts ESG risk assessments and is responsible for our sustainability reporting. We provide sustainability subject matter expertise to our organization.

During the internship, tasks will include:

• Conduct research to support ESG Risk analyses of opportunities
• Assist in assessing the Scope 3.15 carbon footprint of the portfolio in alignment with the GHG Protocol
• Attend Sustainability-focused webinars and trainings, and summarize key learnings to share with the team.
• Support the development of communication materials (e.g., reports, slide decks) tailored to various audiences to describe and summarize the results of research and data analysis.

What skills can the intern expect to develop

• Ability to implement scope 3.15 reporting
• Knowledge of tools that support the development of sustainability policy and strategy
• Data analysis and visualization skills
• Presentation and writing skills

Required Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing an Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering, Science, Industrial Ecology, or Policy degree with an environmental or sustainability focus (e.g., Environmental Engineering or Science, Environmental Management or Policy)
• Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills
• Good data analysis skills and experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and collaboratively in a team-focused group.
• Works well in a geographically diverse team environment.

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of carbon footprint reporting methodologies
• Fluency in Spanish

Job Types: Contract, Internship

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
