Seasonal Customer Service Representative

Responsible for supporting the team by performing a variety of loan documentation duties such as data entry, following up and communicating with customers and internal staff, obtaining missing or updated loan documentation.

EXPECTATIONS

• Analyzes a variety of documents uploaded as part of the loan origination process
• Interacts with the CampusDoor proprietary loan origination platform to complete processing tasks, notate accounts and review documents
• Engages in outbound communication with applicants – voice, email, text and chat
• Learns about various loan programs, cross-train on different processes and assist colleagues wherever possible
• Communicates clearly with colleagues and managers to ask questions and monitor processing progress
• Assists with new product and program testing as needed

EDUCATION - REQUIRED

• High School Diploma

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

• Minimum age requirement of 16 with a valid work permit for High School students only
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Ability to effectively interact with customers and various departments within the organization
• Prior loan processing experience preferred but not required
• Experience with computers, Internet and MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work in a team environment, with a positive attitude, while managing multiple tasks
• Demonstrate consistent attendance, punctuality and professionalism

COMPENSATION

The base salary range for this position is $15,080 - $39,400, inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
