JOB DESCRIPTION
The Scheduling Coordinator for VCPG is responsible for coordinating and managing schedules for security personnel, ensuring that all shifts are adequately staffed and that assignments are covered. This role involves communicating with and scheduling security guards, monitoring and updating shift assignments, and responding to any scheduling conflicts or changes. Day-to-day tasks must be completed promptly.
The Scheduling Coordinator must also maintain accurate records of employee work hours and availability and report those records to our Operations Manager.
Additionally, they may be responsible for assisting with the recruitment and hiring process for new security personnel.
Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
In-Office Duties
- Ensuring the scheduling system is up to date and accurate for any changes
- Keeping employee spreadsheets updated
- Scheduling staff for upcoming events
- Sending employees any requirements needed prior to their shifts
- Monitoring agent clock-ins/outs for any attendance issues
- Submitting weekly timesheets to the Operations Manager
- Escalate any issues to upper management
- Other duties as assigned
Weekend On-Call Duties
- Having the duty phone on hand, answering all calls to ensure agents arrive on time for their scheduled shifts or assist any clients reporting
- Getting coverage for any call-outs or no-shows
- Monitoring agent clock-ins/outs for any attendance issues
- Escalate any issues to upper management
- Preparing a weekly report to submit to management on Monday
Schedule: In-office Thursdays, Fridays, and Mondays, 8 (8) hours each day, and ON-CALL Saturdays and Sundays (paid for 5 hours each day). Estimated hours each week: 32.5 hours
Pay: $23.50-$26/hour
