In-House Clinical Intake Coordinator/Scheduler

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Clinical Intake Coordinator/Scheduler. As a Clinical Intake Coordinator/Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing the intake process for new patients and ensuring that all staff schedules are being followed accurately. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical intake and scheduling.

Duties:
- Coordinate the intake process for new patients, including gathering necessary information and completing required paperwork
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients, providers, and other staff members
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
- Assist with general office tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

-Assist field staff and patients with daily schedules

-Answer clinical calls as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience in a hospice or medical office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Proficiency in using HospiceMD or similar scheduling systems is highly desired
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Work Hours:

8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Monday-Friday)

Pay Range:

$25-$30 p.h.

This is a full-time position located in Victorville, Ca. Benefits such as paid sick time and paid vacation time are available.
