The scheduler will focus on providing positive patient care by assigning client shifts to appropriate caregivers.
Job Responsibilities:
· Focusing on assigning caregiver shifts to clients in need of homecare services.
· Answering office phones and directing calls to appropriate staff members, answering questions concerning services, fingerprinting and background check services.
· Support staff in recruits, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
·Support staff with ensuring documents, certifications, and evaluations of all employees is current and up to date
· Performs other duties as assigned
· May have access to personal health information (PHI) necessary to fulfill duties and responsibilities
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Communication is key!
· Organized and attention to detail
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to perform under stressful situations and flexibility to move from one task to another quickly
· Computer and Internet literacy skills including Microsoft and charting system
· Support caregivers as needed in the field by possibly hands on caring for clients.
· Transport clients as needed.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time
