Scheduling Coordinator – Home Health

Pay Rate - $18 - $21 / per hour
Activa Home Health (an AccordCare Company) is an accredited home health agency seeking an experienced full-time Scheduling Coordinator in our Boynton Beach Office. The Scheduling Coordinator will work in the VA (Veteran’s Administration Department) and will schedule clients based upon referral information and authorizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and coordinating of all field staff to meet the needs of the patients, in accordance with the Plan of Care.
- Scheduling Coordinator works closely with Clinical Manager to manage patient schedules
- Keeps computer system accurate and up to date with schedule changes and visit authorizations
- Communicate with Intake, referral sources, sales staff and team members to facilitate patient care
- Work with Billing Department
- Facilitates Payroll
- Participates with On Call Rotation
- The Scheduling Coordinator ensures patient/family complaints regarding scheduling are adequately addressed and resolved.
- Develops and maintains working relationships with Company staff at all levels, sales staff and referral sources in order to coordinate services efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have at least one year home health scheduling experience.
- Strong written and oral communications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work setting
- Must have exemplary organizational and time management skills.
