Job description

The Salesforce Administrator must be able to meet the key criteria below:
  1. Location: 100% remote
  2. Years' Experience: 5+ years of experience
  3. Education: Bachelor in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT related field
  4. Security Clearance: IBR is a federal contractor. Applicants must be able to meet the requirements to obtain a Secret security clearance. NOTE: US Citizenship is required for this type of clearance.
  5. Work Authorization: Must show that applicant is legally permitted to work in the United States.
  6. Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
  7. Key Skills:
  • Customer service focused with ability to provide accurate, timely, and professional resolution on all supported issues
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues and escalate when appropriate.
  • Operations/Salesforce Administrator duties preferred

Overview
Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation data collection systems? As a Salesforce Administrator the ideal candidate will have operations related experience and be familiar with the SDLC process as well as customer service oriented.
Responsibilities
  • Designing salesforce interfaces
  • Coding against the salesforce API
  • Designing the data model
  • Design and develop enterprise mid-tier components of web driven n-tier application framework
  • Implement web services, data persistence access features and external interfaces to third-party systems
  • Partner closely with front-end and database engineers to ensure features are developed holistically
  • Comply to coding standards for performance, ease of maintenance and scalability and application security.
  • Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture standards.
  • Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues/defects

Qualifications
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Security clearance required up to Top Secret.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Helpdesk Specialist with at least 2 years in multi-server environments, customer service experience, or equivalent training and experience.
  • Must have a Bachelor degree in an IT related field
  • Must be customer service oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience as a Salesforce Administrator and customizing salesforce
  • Force API experience
  • Experience with Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and/or visualforce
  • Software development experience (ie. Java, Javascript, JQuery, CSS, JSON, REST, SOAP, XML, JSP/JSF) a bonus
  • Experience developing in an Agile environment
  • Experience developing and integrating complex software systems through the full system development lifecycle
  • Experience working with Skuid objects in Salesforce a bonus

Physical Demands
Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for manipulation of keyboard and mouse.
Work Environment
Work is performed primarily indoors at a well-lit office environment. The environment is normally air conditioned, but conditions may change dependent upon circumstances. Work may need to be performed in a fast-paced environment requiring quick thinking and rapid judgements. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of clients in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
