Description
Hospice of the Red River Valley (HRRV) is looking for a dedicated and responsible Registered Nurse (RN) that can assist in education and training within hospice and homecare settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation in training, participate in growing our current hospice service area, and make meaningful impact to those we serve. The ideal candidate should have experience in hospice and/or home health.
Position Summary
This position will assist in providing quality training and education to our hospice nursing team members and will also be partnering to add a Quality Service Partner (QSP) program to the HRRV services. Some travel will be required to the designated service areas. This role will serve as a mentor and/or preceptor for clinical RN team members. This role will conduct clinical assessments, provide training, assist in care planning, and complete documentation to provide quality care to patients meting all standards of care.
Position is full-time, benefit eligible and will be based in our Fargo service area.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Degree in nursing, bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of five years of nursing experience with experience in education, precepting, or training a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, research, develop, and recommend changes and improvements, anticipate obstacles and challenges, collaborate on planning, processes, goals, and outcomes.
- Experience in working with all levels of staff, and has excellent communication, organization, prioritization skills, and attention to detail.
- Hospice experience preferred
Certifications, Licenses Required:
- Current state RN License in North Dakota and Minnesota (or willing to obtain dual licensure upon hire)
- Current driver's license and auto insurance
