Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain our Salesforce environment through administration duties to include, but not limited to: customizing to meet evolving needs, application customization, data management & security, reporting, process automation and user training.
- Past involvement in deploying Salesforce solutions.
- Our solution includes Commerce Cloud, Order Management System, Omni-Channel Inventory and Service Cloud. Your focus will be support of back-end modules, teams, and integration with our ERP (NetSuite) and WMS (ShipHero).
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders and company leadership, to design and create scalable solutions to complex business problems such as define and implement new features, workflows and enhancements.
- Regularly audit data to uncover breaks in process and opportunities for process improvement
- Train and support end users on Salesforce best practices, ensuring they can effectively utilize the platform to drive business results
- Develop and deploy reports and dashboards to provide meaningful insights to key stakeholders
- Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues, working closely with external Salesforce experts when needed
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce updates and new features, proactively evaluating their potential impact on our business processes
- Identify, learn, and champion new technologies, innovative software development & delivery methodologies, and new versions of best-of-breed industry products
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of experience on the Salesforce platform
- Proven experience working as a Salesforce Administrator in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and ecosystem
- Must have experience with both Commerce Cloud and Service Cloud
- Strong experience with OMS
- Must have experience in both ERP and WMS integrations
- Familiarity with data migration and data integration between Salesforce and other systems
- Preferred experience with one or both NetSuite and ShipHero
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce configuration and customization, including workflows, validation rules, and process builder
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and find innovative solutions
- Experience on development in creating Objects, Triggers, Apex Classes, VisualForce pages, Standard Controllers, Custom Controllers and Controller Extensions
- Experience in customizing the User Interface of Salesforce Platform using Apex Programming, Custom Controllers, VisualForce, CSS and JavaScript
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with security and Sharing rules implementation at object, field, and record level for different levels of organization and also SSO set up
- Certification in one or more of the following preferred, but not required: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce App Builder, Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform Developer II
