General Description of Duties
- Service concrete contractors and construction projects primarily in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.
- Be knowledgeable of ready-mix concrete, concrete construction, and concrete related products and services.
- Sales will need to read and understand concrete specifications and be familiar with local building codes.
- Track, bid, and follow-up on concrete projects.
- Mix of construction site and office duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience
- College or post High School degree preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain ACI Level 1 Concrete Certification is a requirement.
- Experience as a concrete contractor or sales experience in the construction industy is desired.
- Knowledge of the local concrete industry and contractors is a plus.
- Ability to occasionally work early or late or weekend hours.
- Computer skills and experience with Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Word, required.
- Organization and effective communication skills.
- Experience with bidding state and municipality work is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary of $60k+ depending upon qualifications and experience
- Opportunity to earn bonus typically in the 15% to 20% range
