Nature of Work:
Outdoor Sportsman Group is currently seeking an Ad Sales Planner to work closely with assigned Account Executives to produce customized media schedules and presentations aligned with the goals and initiatives of Ad Sales clients. Ad Sales Planners work in a cross-functional team to plan, implement, and report on media schedules and account performance aligned with client objectives. This position reports to the Vice President of Pricing & Planning.
Examples of work performed:
- Work with assigned Account Executive(s), Pricing and Planning, Marketing, and other departments to understand scope of proposal requests and to independently create customized media schedules and related sales presentations for OSG advertising customers.
- Review and process orders for DR and National inventory. Confirm that pricing, inventory, and added value requests are within reasonable, customary and agreed upon parameters.
- Monitor ordered schedules and post logs throughout the sales cycle to ensure all deal points are delivered per the expectations of the clients and/or agencies.
- Review audience guarantees on client orders and schedule available inventory to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage new account credit approvals and billing reconciliation. Review and resolve invoice discrepancies and other client/agency issues.
- Partner with and support other Sales Planners, Coordinators, Pricing and Planning management, and Traffic department team members as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Minimum
- BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university.
- 1+ years’ experience in Advertising Sales or related field.
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM, and Advertising Inventory Software.
- Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.

- Solid interest in the outdoors and comfort with hunting and fishing sports.
- Analytical perspective and familiarity with basic office and media research tools.
- Attention to detail with excellent organization and time management.
- Familiarity with sales applications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, WideOrbit Network, or other relevant customer and order management systems.
Compensation:
- Base salary of: $52,500 per year
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
