WHO YOU ARE

We're looking for a bright Assistant Planner/Buyer, Digital Media to join our One Marketplace/Performance Media team. This role is a great fit for someone with a naturally curious mind, is resourceful, and has a love for numbers and genuine desire to build a career in digital media and advertising.

Please note this role requires a candidate have proximity to our NY office. We offer a hybrid work setting with employees working both onsite and from home.

The Assistant Planner/Buyer, Digital Media should possess an eagerness to learn a new and rapidly evolving craft in the Digital Media space, specifically Programmatic channels. This role is a great fit for someone who is resourceful, a curious problem-solver, and enjoys working with numbers and data. You should be goal oriented and enjoy seeing your actions make noticeable impact on a larger project or campaign. You must be methodical, detail oriented and thrive when presented new challenges to work through.

This role will report to a Planner and Supervisor and will support with the on-going planning, execution, optimization and reporting for clients.

  • Participate in an in-depth training & onboarding covering biddable media fundamentals and certification in Programmatic media (i.e., The Trade Desk)
  • Hands-on campaign set-up and extensive QA of biddable media buys
  • Daily in-platform monitoring of campaign pacing and performance against agreed-upon KPI
  • Support team in delivering audience, creative and other optimizations insights at agreed-upon cadence
  • Hands-on in-platform optimizations based on campaign performance and opportunities for improvement
  • Works closely with team members to troubleshoot obstacles, quickly and proactively

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree level education or equivalent / Prior internships in advertising, marketing or digital media or relevant work experience are an advantage
  • Effective and efficient in learning new tasks/assignments
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills both the ability to interpret campaign performance (within and beyond KPIs of biddable platforms)
  • Enjoy and understand working with data, numbers (especially via Microsoft Excel)
  • Entrepreneurial attitude: You're excited at the idea of building the agency with new tools, ideas and opportunities
  • Savvy in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Previous marketing, advertising or media agency experience are a plus.

Salary range is $43k - $48k, commensurate with experience.Compensation is determined on the skills, qualifications,, tenure in the industry and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
