Join us as a Sales Development Representative to help us create happier, healthier and more tranquil communities by making the management of noise pollution easy using IoT and AI driven smart noise monitoring.
Recall a restless night when noise kept you tossing and turning. Maybe it was a persistent dog's barking, a blaring car alarm, or thumping music? How did it make you feel? Now, imagine enduring this night after night with no relief. It's easy to grasp how noise can quickly impact our physical and mental health. It's no wonder that noise-related issues are the number one reason for calls to councils.
That’s why NoiseNet is on a mission to improve lives by harnessing the power of technology to tackle noise-related problems. Our tools provide noise regulators the ability to gather and analyse noise 24/7, so that they have the knowledge and data to resolve issues more reliably, faster, and cheaper than ever before.
We’re focusing on further expansion into the US market and looking for our first dedicated and experienced Sales Development Representative based in the USA. This means helping us follow up and manage our existing leads, but also working on growing our target lists and building relationships with new potential clients. Some of your day to day responsibilities:
- Book, confirm and reschedule meetings with potential new clients
- Understand the client pain points in dealing with noise compliants and be able to sell our story and the solution we provide
- Develop and adjust your outbound calling pitch to solve real problems experienced by different types of stakeholders in target clients
- Demonstrate empathy and build trust in external relationships with our clients
- Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities
- Meet and exceed monthly expected sales targets
This is a fully remote role based in the USA, with a base salary range of $50k-80k plus a commission plan.
*Our team is headquartered in Brisbane, Australia. There is an expectation of being able to communicate with us during Australian business hours, so ideally you are based where there is a reasonable crossover of work hours between our locations.*
Qualifications- Previous experience in an outbound sales position
- Previous experience with working towards set KPIs (ideally)
- You’re naturally articulate and have great interpersonal skills
- Proactive, organised, and disciplined, you’re motivated by targets
- Intrinsically driven, you enjoy being able to work autonomously and tackling new challenges
- You’re excited about being part of a growing startup and building something from the ground up
