Job Description
The Business Development Executive – Inside Sales, is responsible for securing new business within the existing OSIS Member base. This includes identifying, following up, and closing new contracts associated with additional OSIS Service lines and facilitating all contract renewals.
This position will have a compensation plan in addition to an annualized base salary.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead contract administration/renewal to include scope changes, annual audits, CPI Increases, etc.
- Work with the OSIS Operations and Account Management to own the sales cycle for all Inside Sales activity and renewal contracts: coordinating discovery calls, organizing product demonstration, contract creation, sales follow-up and execution, tracking payment, and opening tickets for execution.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of Member purchases and membership renewals according to the needs and objectives of both OSIS and Member.
- Develop new business opportunities with existing Members and/or identify areas of improvement.
- Maintain professional Member relationships such that you are viewed as an integral part of the infrastructure to educate and promote new OSIS products and services to meet mandated requirements and overall client IT initiatives.
- Stay current on knowledge of NextGen applications and OSIS Member services.
- Provide guidance on beneficial OSIS offerings and solutions by assisting marketing Member education.
- Attend internal team meetings to stay up to date on member activities and issues as it is relating to or impacting sales initiatives.
- Cultivate OSIS references and work with the Account Management team to maintain status.
- Utilize automation and CRM to streamline reporting processes and build strong and diversified sales opportunities.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
TRAVEL:
This position requires up to 20% travel.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BA or BS in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Sales Executive, Inside Sales Coordinator, Business Development Coordinator, or relevant role
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in the healthcare related field
- Experience working with non-profits

This position can telecommute on an as needed basis.
