Chernoff Cosmetic Surgery, an established, ever-growing and thriving practice, is seeking a motivated full-time Patient Sales Coordinator with a strong sales background. The practice is owned by a triple board certified, well-respected plastic surgeon who has performed thousands of cosmetic surgery procedures with consistent and stellar results. Our Patient Sales Coordinator is responsible for selling surgical procedures and in-office treatments ranging from $1,000 to $40,000+ to prospective patients through extensive phone conversations and in-person face-to-face consultations. Our Patient Coordinator contacts new and existing patients by phone to educate patients on procedures, treatments, promotions, and the credentials of our providers. An important aspect of this role is educating patients on treatments/procedures, overcoming patient concerns, patient anxiety, and scheduling problems. Our Patient Coordinator must be extremely organized, professional, motivated, goal orientated, team focused, have a positive “can-do” attitude. Sales responsibilities include highlighting the credentials of the practice/providers, quoting procedures, selling procedures, and contacting hundreds of patients per week in follow-up to new and existing leads.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct 10-20 in depth patient consultations per day (phone, in person, and/or virtual) educating perspective patients on the doctor, providers, office philology, procedures, treatments, and costs.
- After the phone consultation, ask for and close the sale over the phone.
- Follow-up with 25-50 perspective patients per day using emails, text messages, and phone calls with perspective patients.
- Work in a sleeves-rolled, hands-on fashion, doing whatever it takes to achieve results while sustaining organization and efficiency throughout the practice.
- Ensure the doctor and providers schedule and time is used to maximum efficiency: minimize cancellations/no shows, conversion/patient selection rates are high, patient flow is consistent, and the office flow is well orchestrated.
- Document every detail of your interaction in our patient management system.
- Overcome obstacles preventing patients from scheduling surgery.
- Follow our sales, phone, scheduling, and office protocols.
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of sales and/or sales experience in high-end retail, medical device, pharmaceutical sales, or similar. This is not an entry level position.
- Ability to build relationships as well as a desire to perform outreach with friendly demeanor.
- A positive attitude, enjoy working as a team, and thrive in fast-paced goal driven environment.
- Excellent listening and communication skills: face to face, phone, and written.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- The ability to quickly learn the services offered by our practice and educate patients on procedures and treatments.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook/email, Excel, and Microsoft Word) skills.
- Talk clearly and articulate words for extended periods of time at a volume level that can be easily heard over the phone or in person.
- Perceive sounds at normal speaking levels and receive detailed information through oral communication.
- Sit or stand approximately 50% of the time.
- Ability to view and understand information written in a patient’s medical chart.
Pay Structure and Benefits:
- Base pay range and bonus range, will discuss during interview process.
- Paid vacation, holiday’s, medical benefits, and other perks provided after probation period per company policy.
- Positive work environment working directly with the doctor and staff.
- Hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. A few later days may be needed based on patient consultation scheduling.
