Job description

Job Summary This position is located at the UC Davis Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) in Walnut Creek, California. This position provides research support to the Department of Neurology, UC Davis Alzheimer's Disease Research Center clinical trials program. The candidate will perform research recruitment and tracking, evaluate subjects, and collect data. The incumbent will collect and document clinical trials research processes according to ICH Good Clinical Practice.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Applicants are encouraged to upload license and certification if required of the position.
  • Certification for Biomedical Researchers (CITI) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) within 1 month of hire.
  • Experience screening patients for research or clinic visits.
  • Experience working with senior populations who are normal or cognitively impaired.
  • Experience working with electronical medical record databases such as EPIC.
  • Experience tracking and managing data utilizing software applications such as Excel.
  • Experience with analysis protocols and meticulous lab analysis methods.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Work Environment
Must be able to work overtime and flexible hours when required (evenings, weekends)
Local and out-of-state travel may be required to attend research meetings and educational and community events.
May be required to begin shift earlier than scheduled to accommodate research needs.
