The Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for performing all functions associated with high volume account portfolio in accordance with the credit department goals and objectives.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Analyst include, but are not limited to:

  • Assemble and review invoices to be completed for payment.
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors.
  • Ensure the accuracy of an organization’s financial documents for payment, auditing and tax purposes.
  • Analyzing workflow processes.
  • Process utilities and freight invoices in accurate and in a timely manner.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.
  • Vendor statement reconciliation to ensure all invoices are in house.
  • Ensure all invoices are processed accurately and avoid processing possible duplicate.

Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Analyst include, but are not limited to:

  • Experience working in AP 1-7 years’ experience.
  • Experience processing utilities and freight invoices.
  • Must possess superior ability to accomplish diverse assignments, exhibit competency in time management and organization, with strong interpersonal dexterity.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge (Pivot tables, Vlookups) a MUST.
  • Must exhibit interest in being a team player with all its affiliated characteristics.
  • Detailed oriented, with the ability to follow tasks objectives through.
  • Ability to function appropriately in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adapt in multi-tasking and prioritizing workload.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Problem solving skills and detailed oriented to assist in identifying discrepancies.

Working Conditions: Professional office environment

Shift Time/Overtime: Monday-Friday Standard business hours, 100% "In-Office"
Travel: None

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
