THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Operations Specialist to join our leads team. This role is key to our company's success and requires someone who is innovative, self-motivated, and skilled at analyzing systems. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, be a problem solver, and be able to manage technical issues in an approachable manner. The role involves managing lead flow, using marketing systems such as Salesloft and Salesforce, and monitoring the success of systems through reporting. The Sales and Marketing Operations Specialist will also act as a point of contact for technical issues and be responsible for the sales team's expectations and communications through resolution of incidents.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking an innovative, self-motivated professional who loves analyzing systems, seeing the big picture, and implementing solutions.

This role is ideal for those with a high attention to detail, true problem solvers who are highly skilled at managing technical issues in an approachable and understandable fashion. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for managing lead flow, marketing systems (Salesloft and Salesforce), troubleshooting technical issues, and monitoring the success of systems via reporting and a keen eye for auditing details. You will forge relationships with the sales team, develop a deep technical understanding of our lead systems and landing pages and act as a point of contact for any major incidents, while managing the sales team’s expectations and communications through resolution of such incidents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Salesforce certification or Salesloft experience not required but is a nice to have. Must have a strong understanding of how to translate requirements and sales strategies into CRM configuration changes.
  • Become a power user of our CRM and Marketing automation systems (Salesloft, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign). We will coach you on how to use them and how our systems work e.g. creating workflows/cadences, automation rules, email templates, and reporting.
  • Analyze CRM and Marketing system performance to recognize potential and actual issues, resolve them quickly and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Manage day-to-day execution of lead management and distribution.
  • Be a key player in maintaining data hygiene and integrity.
  • Serve as MasterCare's reporting expert for leads, conversions, and sales attribution tracking by leveraging the reporting available in both our CRMs and sales tracking systems.
  • Evaluate and measure performance of customer-facing content, study sales agent/end user data and recommend changes to enable MCL to fully leverage lead platforms.
  • Provide technical expertise and sales strategy to support the success of the sales team.
  • Create and maintain training materials for new sales team members. Own the process of training new sales team members.
  • Identify gaps in sales team performance that can be addressed with coaching and/or training. Help facilitate the training and implementation of new Sales and success tools.
  • Assist with the planning, tracking, documentation and status updates for special lead program projects.
  • Set up landing pages for new lead sources as needed and implementing tracking & measurement systems (UTM parameters, API) to track marketing performance and ROI.
  • Execute and analyze A/B and multi-variate tests on landing pages and email campaigns.
  • Stay informed on developments in the marketing industry and evaluate new opportunities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Technology, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Marketing Technology, Marketing Automation, Marketing Operations, or Demand Generation preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM and sales engagement platforms preferred
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology platforms and tools, including UTM parameters and API.
  • Superb analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to understand complex systems and identify issues.
  • Unsettled by the status quo, question orthodoxies, experiment with new insights and technologies.
  • Desire to learn and help others gain efficiencies.
  • Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills; along with good communication skills both verbal and written; ability to manage and communicate with remote teams.
