About the role
Sidebar has a strong product market fit and we are rapidly growing our member base. We are seeking a detail-oriented, high output Marketing Operations Specialistto join our team. Your role will be to help achieve Sidebar’s customer acquisition goals by creating, managing and measuring new top of funnel programs including email partnerships, paid advertising, and social media and content marketing.
This role is an ideal opportunity for early-career marketing professionals who have worked at a digital marketing agency or in a marketing department and are looking for more hands-on experience to grow their skills in growth, user acquisition and across digital marketing channels.
As a Marketing Operations Specialist, you’ll…
Support the Growth team’s initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, social media, or content marketing
Coordinate customer acquisition, product marketing or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management
Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice across email, social media and paid advertising
Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including LinkedIn, influencer and PR efforts
Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating reports
Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs
About you
You’ll thrive as a Marketing Operations Specialist if you have:
Background in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in digital marketing /growth
Experience managing complex projects end-to-end on time, within budget and at exceptional execution levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
Experience with email marketing software, online advertising platform software (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads)
Proven results from online marketing programs for clients or your company
