Safety Coordinator

Rig Runner is a specialized trucking company with headquarters in The Woodlands, TX. Rig Runner operates flatbeds, single drops, double drops, extendable trailers, multi-axle lowboys and multi-axle dollies. We are currently seeking a Safety Coordinator.

This position is responsible for ensuring driver files are complete and compliant with the Department of Transportation regulations, all local and State laws and company policies and procedures. Additional duties include but not limited to:

• Accountable for driver qualification process for all drivers in coordination with DOT, FMCSA, and company policy.
• IFTA tax reporting
• Ensure compliance with all FMCSA regulations
• Maintain updated active driver lists in random drug testing consortiums
• Manage fleet leasing in an owner operating environment
• General knowledge of cameras and ELDs
• Manage apportion registrations for fleet
• Knowledge of Hours of Service

Qualifications:

• Must have experience working in DOT and FMCSA
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Knowledge in local, state, and federal DOT regulations
• Working knowledge of accident reporting OSHA regulations
• Must be multi-tasked individual
• Good communication skills is a must
