The Safety and Compliance Associate will work directly with the Director of Regulatory and Safety Compliance to oversee a variety of projects within the safety function, but is not limited to, maintaining the current safety program, and providing strategic advice and recommendations regarding safety compliance, procedures, and regulations. Responsible for the distribution of safety training and execution of the safety training program. Tracking all safety training from Camping World at the location and associate level. On monthly basis notifies the Director of Regulatory and Safety Compliance of any training deficiencies. Complete on-site fall arrest inspection and lifeline recertification and conduct on-site safety audits, ensuring locations understand all health and safety regulations and as necessary suggesting safety improvements.

Essential Job Functions:
- Enforce safety programs and recommended changes when needed
- Distribute training resources to locations as needed (ex: forklift training kits)
- Create and maintain a regional monthly training report identifying any deficiencies
- Investigation of accidents and near misses involving company property/identifying root causes and recommending corrective and preventive actions
- Conduct on-site safety audits and report deficiencies
- Maintain Competent Person certification
- Fall arrest inspection and lifeline recertification
- Conduct on-site fall arrest training
- Prepare/distribute Safety Manual for all locations
- Assist locations with safety related concerns
- Obtain 30-hour OSHA certification
- Track annual facility requirements; (ex: fire extinguishers, sprinkler test, etc.)
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as point contact for various safety department related tasks.
- Work travel approximately 10%
