As a Licensing, Compliance and Safety Product Specialist, Here's What You'll Do:

The Licensing, Compliance and Safety (LCS) Product Specialist is responsible to support the customer transition and ongoing management of LCS products. The Product Specialist will collaborate across teams to ensure seamless operations, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the overall success of our products.

Customer Transitions

  • Collect and review all necessary LCS client documentation and information, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage LCS customer transition checklist.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, operations, and client services to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for clients.
  • Keep account manager informed about the onboarding progress, anticipated timelines, and any potential delays, maintaining transparency throughout the process.

Operational Support

  • Manage special client projects such as buyouts, title transfers, and lease assumptions. Coordinate requirement gathering and project status between other LCS team members, client services, and the customer.
  • Provide day to day support for connected fleet products including submitting POs for new orders, vehicle enrollment, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Provide day to day support for toll management products including monitoring exception reporting, violation disputes, and enrollment error resolution.
  • Process timely and accurate billing for LCS products.
  • Ensure consistency of system setup and job support materials (e.g., state profile, vendor database, process documentation, reference guides, etc).
  • Use data, metrics, and reports to prioritize daily workload, select vendors, and identify issues before they impact the customer.
  • Process licensing transactions including initial title and registration (MSO), renewals, replacements, state and ownership transfers.

Sales and Client Services Support

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of product features and benefits to provide subject matter expertise to sales and client services.
  • Act as a point of contact for client inquiries, provide product demonstrations, respond to questions, and assist with problem resolution.
  • Provide clients with training materials and support, ensuring a clear understanding of our products/services, features, and platform functionalities.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, working closely with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback to help guide the direction of product roadmaps
  • Act as subject matter expert for customer facing mobile applications.

Other

  • Train new hires and other Union team members, provide ongoing support, and be proactive in offering feedback on procedures and best practices.
  • Work from home and in office as determined by company leadership. Work from home responsibilities include use of company provided equipment, secure storage and transport of documents and other licensing materials, and local travel to the post office, shipping vendors, and DMV locations.
  • Administrative support including data entry, filing, scanning, mail distribution, and shipping.
  • Special projects as assigned.


Here's What it Will Take to be Successful in This Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience
  • 3+ years of automotive product support or fleet management experience which may include telematics, license and title, or toll management
  • Experience using a variety of vendors and fleet software programs
  • Customer service experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of vehicle telematics, title and license processes, toll management, and/or general fleet management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Word
  • Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with vendors and customers
  • Detail-oriented
  • Highly accurate data input skills
  • Ability to work independently

This job operates in a professional environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets, printers and fax machines.
