We are an industrial air compressor sales and service company and have been in business since 1987.
Position Summary:
As the HR and Safety Compliance Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company's HR and Safety Compliance programs. You will work closely with all departments to ensure best practices in HR while also ensuring that safety standards are upheld, promoting a secure and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Compliance:
- Stay informed about labor laws and regulations to ensure company-wide compliance.
- Assist in creating and updating HR policies and procedures to align with current regulations.
- Coordinate and track training and development programs for employees.
- Manage employee records and ensure confidentiality and accuracy.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, meetings, and training sessions.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork and orientation.
- Assist with benefits administration and support HR team in employee relations activities.
Safety Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Collaborate with the safety committee to address safety concerns and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of safety incidents and near-misses.
- Update our various vendor safety systems when needed
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare compliance reports for HR and Safety activities.
- Maintain comprehensive records for HR and Safety Compliance purposes.
- Generate metrics and data related to HR and Safety performance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
