Summary
The Safety Administrator is responsible for supporting the Safety Manager and the Safety Department in implementing various health, safety, and environmental programs to assure the highest possible degree of safety for employees and the company. This position will assist company facilities with complying with Federal, state, local, and other applicable safety codes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support facility managers with completing necessary HSE documentation and provide training as the safety manager assigns.
- Assist with compiling documentation related to the satisfaction of OSHA reporting requirements.
- Manage contractor management platforms i.e.IsNetworld, Avetta and Veriforce, etc.
- Process accounts payable to state and federal government entities (UCR, MCS-150, etc.)
- Manage the LMS (Safety Skills) throughout all business units.
- Manage all documentation for Injuries, drug testing, physical examinations, etc.
- Produce reports on driver activity and coordinate with legal on adherence to driver policies.
- Ensuring safety department records and tasks/deliverables are effectively organized, including updating any established tracking systems.
- Assist with filing insurance claims with appropriate carriers as directed and maintain company claim records and files as required.
- Manage/Track the EHS Management software for all business units. (KPA)
- Regularly maintain insurance claim tracking spreadsheet with claim information with updates.
- Maintaining documentation related to incidents/injuries and other safety-related records.
- General administrative tasks include scheduling, calendaring, and maintaining files.
- Process employees in all systems, including onboarding and terminations.
- Under the Safety Manager's supervision, assist with vehicle maintenance administration. policies and procedures and maintain any necessary documentation.
- Support management with incident investigations and case management as assigned.
- Manage Commercial Drivers License training (Third-party).
- Support fleet administrative projects as needed.
- Other tasks and duties assigned by the safety manager.
- Availability to travel locally (Minimal).

Qualifications
- Database administration experience and process development preferred.
- Experience with contractor management platforms.i.e.IsNetworld, Avetta and Veriforce, etc.
- Excellent computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Tasks; familiarity with AdobePro is a plus (editing documents, using Adobe sign, etc.)Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to interact with individuals of all professional levels and work cooperatively with other departments.
- Able to multitask with an advanced ability to prioritize business needs.
- Efficient in carrying out duties, responsibilities, and directives.
- Detail-oriented; able to ensure accuracy in duties and while carrying out responsibilities.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record for insurability.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma.
- 5 years experience in a safety-related role preferred.
- 5 years of experience and working knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 OSHA regulations.
- OSHA 501/511, OSHA 30-hour (or equivalent) training.
- Experience and working knowledge of NFPA, FMCSA, and EPA/TCEQ requirements a plus.
- Fleet management experience a plus.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and squat for prolonged periods, up to 8 hours.
