Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Construction Safety Administrator to support CHERRY Corporate Safety Team and process needs of Safety employees.
Responsibilities:
- Track & communicate employee medical appt/follow-ups.
- Pull iAuditor summary of week trends.
- Approve/process clinic bills
- Attend weekly safety meeting & record and distribute minutes
- Assist to develop & distribute weekly Toolbox Topics in English & Spanish
- Provide access to systems (iAuditor, 3M etc.) as needed
- Execute project requests from Safety Team & Leaders
- Provide Monthly update of active jobs & WC coverage ROCIP, OCIP, CCIP or Cherry Status
- Manage company Safety Email Box
- Coordinate/manage/support Company Safety Vendor Base
- Maintain Records/Logs on As Need Basis
- Incident Log & Incident Files
- Project w/ Badging Log
- Safety Team Meeting/Cities Log
- Maintain Safety Team Resumes/track & update any certs/add latest items.
- Update Annual OSHA 300/300A/301 Logs as needed
Additional as Needed Responsibilities:
- Support Field Training & Activities as required
- Participate in job-site project walks with Safety Team
- Attend in-person Corporate Safety Team Meetings as required; may require travel 5-10%
- Coordinate Corporate Safety Initiatives for all locations
- Interact and communicate with Field Team on Safety Items & Topics
- Obtain trainings & certifications as required
- Maintaining third-party procurement websites such as ISNetworld®, and any others cherry follows
- Assist with workers comp claims
- Knowledgeable of federal, state, and local safety regulations
- Excellent interpersonal bilingual communication abilities across all levels in a construction environment
- Outstanding organizational, time and project management skills
- Delivers commitments on-time with accuracy
- Maintains high level of confidentiality
- Self-directed, able to anticipate next steps or challenges that may arise and prioritize accordingly
Required
- Bilingual fluency read/write/speak Spanish & English Required
- Required 5+ years Construction Safety experience in office environment
- Strong proficiency using Excel; data & analysis to build presentations/chart data/graphics; pivot tables with accuracy
- Working experience managing Multi-State Workers Compensation
- OSHA CFR 1926 working knowledge
- Strong work history & reliable transportation
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Occupational Health, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Ability to use standard office equipment
- OSHA 500 & 510, OSHA 30 certifications a plus
