Under the general supervision of the site principal and Superintendent, implement and coordinate activities that support the student's education program; demonstrate extensive knowledge and practical application of behavioral principles and practices, methods and strategies applicable to students with a variety of disabilities, including behavior management based on positive reinforcement; support the successful integration of students with special needs into the general education classroom, resource classroom, or special day classroom and other school settings; possess personal qualities including leadership, integrity, fairness, optimism, self-confidence, persistence and vitality. -Mild to Moderate Credential required.
