Regional Vice President of Membership
(West Division-Position must reside in West Coast area or relocate there.)
POSITION SUMMARY
Drive membership enrollments by mentoring private club teams with the Century Golf "Membership by Invitation" culture of causing member referrals, membership enrollment processes, sponsorship recognition, and member retention strategies. This position is responsible for implementing the membership strategy with the clubs’ internal enrollment team through individual and group training, planning, coordination, and support of all aspects of Membership held at the clubs. This role reports directly to the VP of Membership.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute the club-specific membership strategies led by the Century Golf Membership Culture and Private Club Core Fundamentals.
- Develop and coach membership teams to meet or exceed specific goals and objectives.
- Implement/Manage the Century Golf enrollment process to establish our culture of “Getting Them and Keeping Them.”
- Collaborate with General Managers and membership teams to define an overall enrollment strategy and to develop initiatives and solutions that drive enrollments and net member gains.
- Work with RVP’s, General Manager, and the membership club teams on the membership offerings (architecture) for each membership category.
- Mentor the membership teams to build effective relationships that result in team clarity, understanding, and empowerment.
- Assist in establishing a game plan with each Member Enrollment Director, working with them on all aspects of the membership process.
- Conduct coaching calls and/or club visits weekly/monthly/quarterly to provide guidance and assist with developing a game plan.
- Be a Membership Ambassador for the clubs, fostering relationships with individuals on the membership team to maintain the growth of the membership roster.
- Collaborate with the teams by developing and adhering to the ACT prospect database, working with the operations team on member event programming, member communications, and value-added member benefits.
- Maintain communication with the teams by participating in the weekly Sales calls and providing weekly and monthly reports, including Enrollments, Code Blues, Invitations delivered, lead generation, and other duties associated with net member gain.
- Track the success and overall performance of club membership teams.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the promotion of the club to the local community.
- Support and mentor the implementation of the club member retention strategies
- Develop and provide training for each department to execute the New Member Orientation program, including assisting the clubs in developing and managing an Ambassador Committee to connect new members.
- Partner with the Chairman of the Ambassador Committee to lead the annual kickoff meetings to orientate the Committee Members with their new positions as Ambassadors.
- Maintain communication with the club teams by attending weekly department head meetings when onsite.
- Attend all scheduled membership conference calls, corporate membership meetings, and annual General Manager meetings.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- A four-year college degree required.
- Five years of experience in sales in golf, hospitality, or service industry preferred.
- Strong sales skills are required.
- Knowledge of private club business preferred.
- Sales training preferred.
- Computer experience with Word, Excel, and CRM programs minimum requirement.
- Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills with an assertive sales personality to meet goals.
- Strong leadership and people relationship skills and the ability to build and foster a team environment.
- Weekly/monthly travel to the clubs is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
