Garland Technology, the industry leader in delivering network products and solutions for enterprise, service providers and government agencies worldwide is seeking an experienced self-motivated and talented Regional Sales Manager to join our fast-growing team.
As a valued member of our organization, you'll take the lead on being the deal maker and play a key role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue goals in support of our US growth strategies.
A Little About the Role:
Enterprises, schools, and institutions are investing in their IT networks to increase performance and improve cybersecurity protections. There are new projects opened daily with network engineers seeking network TAPs and network packet brokers to gain better visibility in the networks they manage. Finding these projects can be lucrative for a sales professional but they?re not easy to find. Everyday you can expect you?ll be researching, prospecting, making phone calls, sending emails, and scheduling meetings with industry partners to locate the projects. It requires a person that has persistence, ingenuity, strategy and patience. It means collaborating with team members like the Inside Sales Rep, Sales Support Specialists, Systems Engineers, Partner Leads, and Marketing Team to be successful. Responsibilities
Leads team and drives sales and all activity in assigned territory
Sells new and existing products, discovers new opportunities, and secures incremental business
Process driven performer and has an innovative problem-solving approach
Consistently performs effective sales calls throughout the assigned territory and closes new business opportunities
Develop and grow relationships at the appropriate management level with distributors, resellers, and end-users to leverage lead generation on major accounts
Accountable for business performance and hitting all revenue and other performance targets
Work effectively within a team environment to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer success
Collaboration with Territory Sales Managers; act as a mentor, coach and lead-by-example
Explores, identifies, and communicates potential opportunities with the Territory Sales Managers
Builds on a strong history of networked contacts, expanding the brand recognition of Garland Technology
Develop and/or modify sales forecasting, goals, performance standards & measurement criteria for sales
Support the development, implementation and management of account plans that achieve maximum possible revenue generation from new and existing customers through sales of product and services
Accountable for all channel partners and end-user sales revenue
Establish a list of targeted channel partners and end-users
Foster Technology Partner relationships with sales engineers and salespeople
