Primary Duties:
Operational Support and Fleet Management to facilitate business planning with a van support and strategy focus. Oversees the operations and management of the APM fleet of vans at various stages: ordering allocations, taking Franchisee's orders, arranging financing, delivery transportation, and the white glove overarching service requirements. The ROM Fleet Support is responsible for planning, managing, coordinating, and supervising the programs for acquisition, assignment, replacement and disposal of vehicles. ROM Fleet Support also serves as the primary contact concerning the vans and their operation for APM. The ROM - Fleet Support owns the entire van Eco-system.
The Regional Operations Manager is first point of contact for the franchisees for vans and has deep knowledge of the Business Model, van's Chassis and upfit, vendors and products, and tools to ensure the franchisees are successful and profitable.

Provide real time franchisee support by training, field visits as needed, scheduled support calls, responding to emails and voicemails addressed to the Support Team queues.
Maintain a communication call log to record the highlights of conversations/meetings and provide a case history.
Participate in company meetings, webinars, conference calls and conventions.
Fleet Management: Coordinate and manage a fleet of vans, ensuring they are properly delivered to Allied Body from our allocation with Mercedes. Providing reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance issues, and fleet progress.
Inventory Management: Coordinate with relevant teams to manage inventory of the vans (APM/Accounting/SalesForce). Ensure proper documentation. Maintain inventory levels and update records as necessary. Manage production timing to delivery to not have vans sitting and us paying for them at Mercedes.
Customer Service: Maintain a high level of franchisee satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate ordering through the delivery of the vans. Address franchisee inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner. Be the first point of contact for all things vans. Implement support processes to enhance the FES overall satisfaction with vans support.
Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fleet operations, such as delivery times, mechanical issues, van utilization, and FE satisfaction. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency. Vet optional choices for the franchisees for shipping vans, financing vans, insurance, title etc. as needed.
Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the budget for van support. Monitor costs, analyze needs, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining operational quality. Develop methods to decrease costs and improve efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure vehicles adhere to local, state, and federal registration, including licensing, insurance, emissions, and other standards. Stay updated on industry regulations and changes that affect fleet operations i.e. idling vans,
Vehicle Acquisition and Disposal: Assess the franchisee's vehicle needs and recommend the acquisition or disposal of vehicles as necessary. Coordinate the procurement process for new vehicles, including optional selections and van acquisition.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records related to vehicle maintenance, and other relevant documentation and publish it in The Source and share on Webinars. All FE communication should be in Salesforce.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years hands-on experience in Business/Operations/Franchise experience required.
- Knowledge and interest in vans/cars and how the mechanics all work
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong business acumen..
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and business skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines promised to franchisees or management
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis in Excel.
- Comfortable using all forms of business technology
