The Regional Account Managerwill play a pivotal role in driving business growth in the USA, building relationships with customers, supporting growth of the composting industry. They will maintain and expand relationships with current customers as well as developing new customer and sales opportunities. The Regional Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales and profitability quotas and assigned strategic account objectives. The Regional Account Manager represents the entire range of EcoSafe products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned and new customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company. The Regional Account Manager reports to the Director of Sales - USA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts and new targeted accounts
- Coordinate the involvement of sales broker reps, company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
- Meets assigned targets for profitability, sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts and new targeted accounts
- Proactively develops a strategic and new target account planning process that identifies performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for the fiscal year.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
- Deliver a monthly revenue forecast by customer
The Regional Account Manager will be accountable for and measured on the following:
- Achieving assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
- Meeting assigned expectations for profitability.
- Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
- Completes strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
- Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated drive, confidence and risk taking.

- Ability to evaluate customer needs and implement programs to meet these needs.
- In-depth knowledge of customer marketing and promotional elements.
- Understand and make sound judgments based on technical information
- Passionate about sustainability, composting and the environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and prioritizing.
- Must be able to travel 25% of the time.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Key or National Account Manager.
- Ability to act independently with poise, purpose, and urgency
- Demonstrated success defining and meeting goals.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, at all levels of management.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, internal and external.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, outlook, excel, word, power point.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to communicate effectively verbal and written.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak effectively before internal or external groups.
- Ability to present to customers using electronic presentations and product.
DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY
- Recommends changes to policies and procedures to Director of Sales - USA.
- Expenditures and expenses must follow EcoSafe’s expense policy.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
