Position Title: Recruiting Manager

Employment Status: Full-time
Comp Grade: $65,000-$75,000
Work Hours: 8:30AM-4:30PM, additional hours can be required based on operational needs.
Position Summary:
MART is one of 15 regional transit authorities in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts providing public transportation within our communities. This position will manage the entire recruiting process for MART. The Recruiting Manager position is an essential part of our organization to ensure we have the team members to provide our services and to serve the public with the human right of transportation. This role’s primary focus is on sourcing candidate leads for filling open positions, with an ongoing emphasis on van and bus driver recruiting for our operating companies, as well as other open positions in MART’s Transit or Brokerage operations. Utilizing MART’s community connections for warm sourcing of recruiting leads is a critical part of this role. Screening and conducting candidate initial interviews are included in this position’s responsibilities.
Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities:
- Sourcing candidate leads for open positions.
- Building relationships with Centers of Influence as referral sources.
- Keeping a constant primary focus on driver recruiting.
- Warm sourcing of candidates.
- Utilizing social media, job boards, and professional networking platforms to generate leads.
- Devising a series of recruiting strategies to ensure continuous candidate flow.
- Tracking candidate pipelines by source and stage of the interviewing process.
- Facilitating the creation of recruiting marketing materials and identifying locations for MART recruitment promotions.
- Interviewing candidates to determine interest and suitability for openings.
- Attending networking events to develop relationships for identifying candidates.
When duties and responsibilities change, the employee may be asked to perform other duties as required as business needs dictate. Employees are required to identify any changes in their job duties since the descriptions were last reviewed. Additionally, MART may ask that employees conduct a review of their position as part of the performance-evaluation process.
Qualifications:
- College diploma or equivalent work experience in recruiting.
- An outgoing personality who will do outreach in our communities.
- 3+ years’ experience recruiting individuals.
- Experience working in public transit or driver recruiting a plus.
- A valid unexpired Driver’s License is required for working in multiple locations.
Skills:
- Excellent writing and public speaking skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively, work independently and complete tasks as required.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully recruit people to various positions.
- Can handle numerous workflow issues and candidates at once.
- Can communicate issues with multiple parties in an effective manner.
Working Environment and Physical Demands
Works in a variety of interior and exterior climates of varying conditions.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
