ENTRY LEVEL POSITION WITH NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
Hourly Rate: $20 to $21
Job Summary:
The Therapist (Entry Level) position teaches verbal behavior, social and educational skills to children, teens and young adults with Autism and related disabilities. We support our clients at their home and in the community. We provide paid on the job training with highly skilled clinicians to ensure proficiency and confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Clients in their homes and in the community to ensure that they have skill sets to be independent.
- Work alongside the caregivers to ensure they can attend tasks, engage with others, and communicate needs and wants while forecasting and managing behavior.
- Responsible for teaching clients behavioral, social, and educational skills.
- Attend to clients diligently to ensure client safety.
- Accurately record clinical data electronically
- Always maintain confidentiality and dignity of clients
- Collaborate with and receive support and ongoing training from case managers and supervisors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent or are currently enrolled in college courses.
- Must have a valid California driver's license, a personal reliable vehicle, and Auto Insurance (with your name visible on the policy as the owner or as a registered driver)
- Must have experience with technology (e.g., computer, iPad)
- Monday-Friday availability, weekend, and afternoon to evening hours (Preferred)
- Pass a Livescan background check and TB test.

- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) CSH provides supervision hours and pays exam and annual renewal fees.

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to ten pounds. Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an outside and office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of electronic devices; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
