Catering Sales Manager - Upscale Fine Dining w/ Excellent Benefits
Currently seeking a Catering and Event Manager for a great opportunity with an established and growing upscale casual restaurant company. The ideal candidate will possess 3 years of restaurant operations experience.
Responsibilities of the Catering and Event Manager
- Attain the financial objectives of the business through effective management of people, product, service and facility processes, including a focus on the revenue and profit components.
- Increase revenue through up-selling and promotional programs, and improved employee product knowledge and training.
- Interact regularly with the team and Managers to ensure that the company’s operational priorities are aligned.
- Complete knowledge and enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
Requirements of the Catering and Event Manager
- Ability to manage shifts
- Must be entrepreneurial and visionary, yet be very hands-on, with a positive can-do attitude, which reflects the company's corporate culture
- Must have high intellect and analytical capabilities and place a premium on mental stamina and enjoy performing at high levels of focus
- Must also include project management, problem solving and decision making
- Will be a team leader who is quickly able to assess a situation and use their experience to implement change
- Ability to communicate with other employees up and down the organizational chart and lead a group toward a common vision
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Furthermore, the desired candidate will be hardworking, with tremendous energy, creative, self-motivated, dedicated, loyal, and ethical
- Must be well organized, computer literate, detail-oriented, and have the ability to delegate responsibility as needed
Compensation for the Catering and Event Manager
- Full-time Salary: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year plus 3% commission
