Overview
This role provides support for all campus recruiting efforts in either a district network office or a network office. This position involves performing functions that allow the recruiting team to efficiently attract, recruit, select and contract financial representatives. The Recruiter Coordinator Intern has an overall understanding of the recruitment and selection process. Critical competencies in this position include: a high degree of organization, attention to detail, commitment to follow through, and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals.
Primary Responsibilities
Recruiting & Selection Support
- Maintain supply of all recruiting materials & kits
- Maintain candidate files
- Send appropriate communication to candidates and interviewers for each step of the selection process
- Coordinate community and campus career fairs
- Communicate with candidates to schedule/reschedule initial interviews as needed
- Coordinate and execute any recruitment promotions/campaigns (mailings, publicity, contest tracking, etc.)
- Oversee reporting and tracking of recruitment activity and prepare reports as directed
- Assist in administration of selection profile tools as needed
- Guide and direct all leadership team members to facilitate the recruitment and selection process
- Mine resumes and post jobs through recruiting job boards (Monster, Career Builder, and university career services websites)
- Maintain candidate database via home office-supported software
Contract & Licensing
- Assist in the candidate’s completion of all contract and licensing paperwork
- Schedule and track candidate’s licensing and registration requirements
- Process all contract and licensing paperwork and follow through on all outstanding requirements through to contract approval
- Stay up to date in knowledge of new procedures/requirements regarding contract, licensing and registration
- Coordinate details of office set-up for new interns (desk, phone, business cards, stationery, supplies, etc.)
Qualifications
- 2 years recent administrative or operational support experience required
- Strong communications skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite; Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally as a team member and with all levels of people

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
