As a Logistics Coordinator Intern, you will learn all aspects of a 3rd party logistics by assisting the logistics group on various tasks such as booking loads, negotiating prices, and interacting with current LTL and Truckload carriers
Our Day in the Life of a Logistics Coordinator Intern
- Utilize MyPNGLC TMS to support and execute efficient Managed Transportation solutions.
- Liaise between customers and providers/vendors/carriers for logistics needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer's unique requirements.
- Maintain and document all MyPNGLC TMS processes and business rules.
- Monitor and manage customer shipments and carrier relationships.
- Innovate and improve supply chain execution through MyPNGLC TMS
- Manage day-to-day activities for multiple accounts, ensuring compliance with special requirements.
Our Supply Chain Analyst Interns
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, Data Analytics or similarly related field).
- Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree between December 2023 and August 2025.
- Available 20-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday during normal business hours (8am to 5pm)
- Ability to think critically with high attention to detail and listening, oral, and written communication skills.
- A self-starter who takes initiative with a sense of curiosity, adaptability, and courage to always be a student of the business.
- Good communication skills, able to work well with customers
- Excel experience is a plus
