JOB TITLE: RECEPTIONIST/SECRETARY #JV0023

DEPARTMENT: JUVENILE PROBATION DEPARTMENT

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Possess a high school education or equivalent.

2. Must be at least 21 years of age.

3. Be willing to obtain additional training, skills, and experience as mandated by the Texas Juvenile Justice Department.

4. Computer/data entry experience required.

5. A working knowledge of the juvenile justice system in Texas preferred.

EXAMPLES OF JOB DUTIES:

1. Serve as receptionist for the juvenile probation department and juvenile detention center.

2. Receive and receipt payments in JCMS System.

3. Prepare files for juvenile offenders including copies of offense reports, records, etc.

4. Assist juvenile prosecutor with court related documents.

5. Assist probation officers with daily tasks.

6. Any other duties assigned by supervisor or Chief Juvenile Probation Officer.

SALARY: $2,800 - $3,049.76 Monthly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,800.00 - $3,049.76 per month

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
