Tom's Auto Body is a small auto body/towing shop in Stoughton, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Answer/place phone calls, answer/send emails, and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Enter bills, invoices, checks, etc. in QuickBooks Online accounting software
- Calculate tow bills and other expenses for customers
- Writing checks for various expenses/bills/statements
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents
- Provide administrative support as needed
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable
- Be reliable, dependable, motivated, and personable
Experience:
- At least 2 years experince with QuickBooks Online software.
- (Preferred) Familiarity with auto body shops and dealing with insurance companies
- Proven work experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and customer service principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
