Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Job Description
We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude who will be responsible for greeting clients and visitors to our office and answering, forwarding and screening all phone calls in a professional manner. Candidates should be able to assist management and all visitors to the company by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance in person, via phone and/or e-mail, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.
Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
- Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
- Providing real-time scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing conflicts.
- Handling office tasks, sorting and distributing mail, filing, and grading.
- Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Managing filing system.
- Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing.
- Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Requirements:
- High school diploma or associate’s degree.
- Warm personality with strong communication skills and ability to multitask.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Consistent, professional dress and manner.
- Punctual and strong timekeeping skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Multilingual preferred (language preferred: Mandarin).
- Have a valid drivers license.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
