Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Receptionist at AKAM's NY corporate office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional front desk support and ensuring a positive experience for clients, tenants, and visitors.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  1. Front Desk Operations:
    • Greet and welcome visitors, tenants, and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
    • Answer incoming calls, transfer calls to appropriate personnel, and take messages as needed.
    • Manage the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  2. Customer Service:
    • Provide excellent customer service to clients and tenants, addressing inquiries and directing them to the appropriate department or personnel.
    • Assist with general inquiries related to property management services and policies.
  3. Administrative Support:
    • Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records.
    • Prepare and distribute notices, announcements, and other communication materials as needed.
  4. Facility Management:
    • Monitor and manage the reception area to ensure cleanliness and a professional appearance.
    • Report any facility-related issues to the appropriate department for resolution.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to multitask and handle a variety of responsibilities efficiently.
  • Professional and friendly demeanor.
