Bilingual Medical Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a Bilingual Medical Front Desk Receptionist in the New York City area to work at a Ortho/Sports Medical office. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments. We are looking for candidates available on on a temporary to permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
Must be able to translate between between English and Spanish for doctor and patient.
Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
Escort patients to exam rooms and take vitals
Prepare patient charts
Register patients
Schedule and confirm appointments
Prepare rooms for patient examinations
Sterilize & clean instruments
Take inventory of medical materials and supplies
2 years experience a plus
Qualifications:
Familiarity with medical billing procedures
Strong organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish
