This position is highly customer service oriented, greets vendors, customers, job applicants and other visitors. Will verify and update, if necessary, patient demographics and insurance information at each visit. Will take incoming calls and place outgoing calls and may involve message distribution.
Coordinates and participates in a variety of duties associated with the daily office preparation process, opening and sorting mail, patient identification, patient check in/out, charge posting, and patient appointment scheduling. Performs ancillary scheduling and referrals management. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under general supervision. A minimum of Two (2) years of experience in related healthcare field is preferred.
