Receptionist

Job Summary:
Mercedes Benz of North Haven is seeking a Part Time Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our sales department. As the first point of contact for our dealership, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our clients. This position is perfect for someone looking to gain experience in the auto industry and work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a Part Time, hourly position with a starting pay rate of $17 per hour. Payment will be made on a weekly basis. The employee will also have access to employee discounts on vehicle purchases, service & parts, and other company benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients as they enter the dealership
- Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Direct calls and messages to appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and maintain customer records
- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and email correspondence
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with empathy and efficiency
- Collaborate with sales team to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Complete other tasks and projects as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Passion for the automotive industry is a plus
