Louisiana Gastroenterology Associates is a team of dedicated and accomplished professionals utilizing state of the art technology and proven methods to provide exceptional patient care. We are recruiting a full-time receptionist who shares our passion for ensuring superior patient care in the field of gastroenterology.

Responsibilities:

· Checks patients in upon arrival at the clinic.

· Greets patients on the phone.

· Ensures that the appropriate forms are completed by patient.

· Verifies insurance coverage.

· Enters appropriate data into electronic system.

· Scans and file documents.

· Projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Experience working in an office environment is required.

· At least one year experience working as a receptionist in a medical environment is preferred.

· Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required.

· Excellent customer service skills is a must.

· Very good written and verbal communication skills, and organizational skills are required.

· Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and basic computer skills.

· High school completion certificate/diploma is required.

· Must be able to periodically lift 20lbs.

Hours of Work:

Monday – Thursday, 8am-5pm; Friday, 8am – 1pm.
