Legal Receptionist

The ideal Receptionist candidate is a reliable, professional, and detail-oriented team player who will be the first point of contact for visitors in our Lafayette office. The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting guests in a polite and well-spoken manner, directing phone calls internally or to other regional offices, and managing reservations in Rendezvous for the Lafayette office.

This position requires a candidate with strong administrative skills and exceptional interpersonal abilities. This is a full-time, position that reports on-site Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
• Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
• Maintain the reception area and ensure it is clean and presentable.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and conference room reservations.
• Assist in maintaining office supplies and equipment.
• Provide administrative and clerical support as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma.
• One year of administrative experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some college experience.
• Experience working in a law office environment.
• Familiarity with legal terminology.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
