Description:
- The position of the office assistant is one that requires candidates to constantly interact with customers and clients and display excellent customer service.
- Candidates must be able to answer any incoming phone calls, direct clients to the appropriate departments/personnel, and above all be knowledgeable of our vessel operations and answer any questions regarding orders and deliveries.
- Candidates are expected to take orders over the phone, as well as manage incoming online orders, which requires friendly and courteous customer service.
- Candidates are expected to run the operations of the office, in collaboration with the store manager and vessel coordinator.
- Candidates are expected to balance the office budgets, review cashier reports, complete bank deposits, handle paperwork, and any other clerical duties that may be needed on a given day.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years customer service experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Able to work mostly evening shifts, as well as some weekends
- Experience in budgeting and standard mathematics
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Speak in a friendly and courteous manner
- Ability to handle a full work load, and complete tasks in a timely fashion
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows Live Mail/Gmail, Google Docs is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
