Status: Full Time
POSITION SUMMARY: Receptionist - Imaging FT seeking a receptionist who will provide excellent service to patients and referring physicians. This person will process patients efficiently to facilitate a timely workflow. They will also exercise professional judgment in performance of services in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Location: 9680 Golf Road, Des Plaines IL- 60707
Qualifications: We are looking for a hard worker with strong customer service and multi-tasking skills in a busy office setting, for our Imaging Center.
- Must have a great desire to provide patients and medical staff with the highest level of customer service.
- Computer knowledge and experience preferred.
- Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking preferred.
Description:
- Answer and direct calls
- Greet patients
- Schedule appointments
- Check patients in and out
- Collect payments
- Must have great multi-tasking skills and customer service
Hours:
- Full time
- 40 hours / week
- Monday - Friday
- Occasional Saturdays
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify insurance and referral/script information. Enter all updated insurance and billing info into RIS
- Collect co-payments and other payments for services
- Balance cash and credit card receipts, and prepare bank deposits
- Cancel/reschedule appointments as necessary
- Greet patients, register and process related paperwork
- Help to maintain patient satisfaction
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Previous medical office experience, knowledge of medical terminology – Preferred / Not required
- Basic computer and data entry experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
