Real Estate Accountant

Position
We are seeking a Real Estate Accountant with a strong work ethic, excellent judgement, and a desire to build a long-term career with us. You should be highly organized and detailed, with excellent analytic and problem-solving skills. It is important that you can work effectively within a team concept. We offer a collaborative environment that provides our teams with the support and training necessary to succeed.
What You'll Do
Prepare property financial statements for large, Class-A, multi-family properties and developments

• Monthly maintenance of work-papers
• Communicate with property and construction management team members on a regular basis to keep records accurate and current
• Assist with accounts payable
• Monthly inter-company billbacks.

What You'll Need

• Accounting degree
• 2-3 years accounting experience with a Real Estate background
• Experience with Yardi or similar accounting software
• Thorough understanding of General Ledgers
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Great attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work within the team concept
